A Job to be Done

I am honing my skills and training my abilities as there would be a scheduled practical test to be conducted by our most despised instructor in the whole university!I do not want to be looked down upon and belittled by this gruesome instrutor, her name is Ms. Paradise. Such an irony isn't it? Hahaha, hearing her name sounds so nice to the eardrums, but seeing her face is really a different story! Like a skiphire banging. So irritating right?? I am really amazed at how she handles this satire situation she is in. Keeping up with her family name. Whew, must be a hard task. So, unsurprisingly she does not try to keep up. She just leaves it as it is. Big irony.

Going back, as I was preparing for our upcoming practical test, one of my classmate who bullies me zoomed in with his scooter. Gosh! He is well aware that this is a violation of school policies. Written on the corridors are big warning signs: NO SCOOTER OR ELSE...Oh my, I feared for my classmates' dear life, he might be eaten alive by our awful instructor (I am exaggerating). So as he passed by, I yelled at him, "What are you doing?!", he yelled back, "Having fun!!" I cannot really hear him very clearly as his scooter is really noisy. I was standing there, watching him drive away. While I am here getting ready for our practical test, he is there having so much fun. Sigh. I am jealous! Unfair. I also want to have fun!

I just sighed and as I was walking back to where I am practicing, with my head bowed down, I saw a pair of feet standing on my way. And when I raised my head, guess who is standing in front of me??! My horrific instructor! But this time, she is not frowning as she always does. Instead I saw sincere sympathy on her eyes and her smile. For the first time, her looks is matching her name. Ms. Paradise. She asked me if I want to study with her and we can go canteen afterwards. I said yes.
