When I wanted to drive a car, I had to have some driving lesson(s). I

When I wanted to drive a car, I had to have some driving lesson(s). I decided to go to a driving school, and started to learn about all the theory behind driving: for example, the basics of road safety, all of the road laws as well as what all the various road signs mean. I also learned all of the basics about driving on the right hand side of the road, in case I should ever need to drive in mainland Europe or in North America.
After I passed my driving theory exam, I received my provisional driving license in the mail from the school, which allowed me to drive on the road as long as a fully qualified driver was sitting in the passenger seat next to me. I got some help from a friend, who accompanied me on the road, and gave me tips on how to improve my driving.
When I felt I was good enough, I took my practical driving test. This involved having an examiner in the passenger seat of the car, instructing me on where to drive. I had to show my ability to do a three point turn without touching the kerb, as well as my ability to do an emergency stop while keeping the car under control. Unfortunately, I failed the first time, but I passed with no problems on my second attempt. Now, I can drive all over the place!
Another lesson that I am thinking of taking at the school is how to become an hgv driver. I would love to have a career that involves driving around in a lorry, so I think being an HGV driver would be the perfect job for me. Getting this license is harder, as it is much more difficult to drive a lorry. Also, in the event of an accident, it is usually more catastrophic, so they need to be sure that the hgv driver is competent. I am thinking of taking this test. I would also love to drive lorries, as I could listen to lots of music, and listen to lots of pod casts and radio.
