It is often said that driving is an art, it is not easy to be a good driver unless you master the art of driving. These days learning to drive also has become much complicated as per the guidelines issued by the Department of Transport and laws made by the government. Moreover, there are many number of driving schools which offers cheap driving lessons, and uses old vehicles to train the learners. Those who learn driving from them, they only teach you cheap driving lessons which in turn does not make you qualify for the main driving test. The course of driving and the technique of their instructions does not match to any standard and in turn we end up learning cheap driving lessons from these instructors.

The only thing we can do to improve the standard of learning to be a good driver and eliminating these people who impart cheap driving lessons without any benefit and charging a hefty fees.

motoring is considered as an alternative to driving. It can also be interpreted as driving a vehicle. If you want to be a good driver, you must consider joining a standard driving school which imparts driving lessons and is approved by the concerned authority/government. Else you land up in trouble by paying fines, or there is a possibility of involving yourself in an accident which can become a more serious issue.

Most of these driving schools does not impart any theory test which I think is a must these days. But they only give importance for practical driving lessons and allows you to drive from day one? That is somewhat unusual in other countries. But, in India these schools do not have any infrastructure, trained manpower or authorized personnel to conduct these tests and make you learn to be a good driver. They do not give importance to any type of theory lesson and/or any classroom type training. Which I think is a good option to learn driving.

When compared to other advanced countries like USA, UK, Dubai etc., to obtain a drivers licence is a very big achievement for you. The main reason is that these countries have the strictest guidelines to get a drivers license. They have a separate school where you will be taught both theory and practicals, and at the end of the course you'll have to write an exam which must be cleared (pass) by the candidate. Thereafter, you'll be asked to appear for practical test which must also be cleared by the candidate after which he/she will get a permanent drivers license to drive the vehicle.

In summary, driving a vehicle is very interesting, but one must have a valid driver's licence obtained by a competent authority.
