I am so excited because I'm take my driving test in two weeks. I'm finally going to be able to drive around the city myself and not keep asking my Mom and Dad to take meeverywhere. Like most young drivers out there, I am nervous and want to be a safe driver, but I also want to have fun. But be able to have fun at the same time, to be safe while behind the wheel.

Last year at my high school, there was this 17 year old boy that was on the freeway on his motorcycle and had gotten in an accident. He was being careless and wasn't watching where he was going. Thank goodness he didn't get killed, but sustained some major injuries. He had to be in the hospital for two months with multiple broken bones and a head fracture. I don't know what he was thinking at the time, but he was riding around without a helmet.

I think that taking driving lessonsis one of the smartest things a driver can make. Young or old, it benefits everyone. Driving lessons prices are going up, but I personally think it's worth it. My Mom and Dad feel the same way. They told me even though the driving lessons prices are higher and getting higher as the time goes by, they still want me to take the lessons.

When I practice my driving, my Dad lets me sometimes practice in his classic car that he absolutely adores. He thinks because I know he loves that car, that I will be more careful while driving it so I will pay attention better. A weird way of looking at it, but I can see his point. If I ever did anything to that car, I would feel so guilty.

Knowing that the driving lessons prices are really expensive, I make sure I make the most out of them. The lessons are very helpful and informative, and it keeps even me, a teenager, interested. And with the driving lessons prices that my Mom and Dad are paying, you better believe I am paying attention. I learned at a very young age, the importance of the value of money. And I don't think it is fair or practical to waste the time of the lessons by not paying attention and learning as mush as I can from the lessons, they are too valuable.
