I am here in Shimla (India) from past 3 weeks to spend my holydays with my family. I’m a final year degree student and my summer vacation is going on. My father loves to travel and he have choose Shimla, which is said to be a second haven in India for this year’s outdoor of summer season.

Shimla is basically a hill station, which is also one of the big city of the state of Himachal Pradesh, (India). This is one of my favorite outdoor of India because of its royal tea gardens, Traditional driving schools, and olden British heritage. We have hired a Suzuki van to travel all the beautiful tourist locations of Shimla and its adjacent place. However, auto rickshaw, car, bus and other cheapest mean of transport are also available here but in a four wheeler like Suzuki van, you will get both the facility Cheep & affordable + free tourist guide including the driver.

Shimla is one of the greatest tourist point of India and that’s why the medium of transport is very cheep and comfortable. I have notice that there are lots of personal transport agency available here at Shimla, offering lots of cheep and affordable packages for visitors and tourists from all over the world. The best thing is that all kinds of vehicle including four wheelers are also available here at rent!! we just have to talk with our resort authority and within just a fraction of time the personal vehicle is ready to take drive.

Peoples of Shimla are more traditional rather then modern and I like their simplicity and honesty. As I discuss about the private transport services, one thing I told you that this is very risky to rent a vehicle rather then hire, because of the dangerous hilly roads, bad or rainy weather, and of course frequent snow falls which generally close down the roadways more frequently. So, we have hire a Suzuki van with free tourist guide and a technically skilled local driver.

There are lots of good and advanced driving schools available here at Shimla. We have visited some of the historical driving schools and college founded by British officers , just a few Kilometers away from Shimla. Some driving schools are well equipped with modern instruments, but some of them are run traditionally. Anyway, whatever it was, I really don’t care about the traditional or scientific technical training as the output will be the same.. a ‘Skilled driver’. The only difference between the above two driving schools category is the ‘lesson and instruction’. The driver from traditional driving school will be more practical…

If you are planning to go for outdoors in India, I suggest you to visit Shimla once in your life as this is one of a remarkable tourist and historical place .. and I mean it.
